This has been a week of various battles!!! eBay, Bank of Scotland, & Scottish Hydro have all had an earful, as they managed to incur the wrath of Rab…… Anyway, these three have caused havoc to the productivity here on the Croft, as I always seemed to have to stop what I was doing, to go and speak to them! eBay alone took three hours, and four emails for them to recognise that I’m not a crook for trying to sell my own Electra Glide.
on the up side, the Dyna is running great, and pulling really well with its Rivera Twin Carb Kit! Though this wasn’t all plain sailing, as I had to get towed back from the end of the Road, after a quick trip to Methlick for Fuel, with what turned out to be a holed Fuel Tap Vacuum Hose….. This saga is still continuing, as the Speedo is playing at silly buggers, and I’ve had to order a Speed Sensor in the hope that this will cure the rouge Speedo! I’m not convinced this is the fault, but I’m all for being proved wrong…. Again… The best news of the week for the Dyna though, the widened Tank is managing to hold all of its contents, rather than allow them to escape out onto the Workshop Floor ! Every cloud as they say 🙂
Now, the only job left to sort out is the Steering Damper, which I’m eagerly waiting for a lovely Stainless Bracket, which will allow this to be tucked in under the bottom Yoke! I wonder what’s happening with that?????
